Honda Revo Matic di Internet

Honda Revo Matic - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) recently announced plans to increase production capacity to 3.5 million units before the end of this year and to build a new plant with a capacity of 500,000 units to enhance its capacity to four million units before the end of 2011.

AHM is a joint venture of Honda Revo Indonesia responsible for motorcycle production and sales. To meet the demand for motorcycles in Indonesia, AHM is currently increasing its annual production capacity of 3 million units by the end of 2009 to 3.3 million units by the end of May 2010 through the addition of a new line in existing factory.

This time AHM raised its production capacity to 3.5 million units by the end of 2010. New plant will be built on land which is scheduled to operate three plants in late 2011 with total new investments of about Rp 750 billion. With the operation of new plants later, the total increased to 17 000 employees of AHM than 16,000 current employees.

In addition, AHM has also added motorcycle model line-up released three skutik with new models in August 2009 skutik ago, classic retro skutik Scoopy in May 2010, and global skutik model is PCX in June 2010 recently.

AHM has also introduced an automatic motorcycle models, equipped with Revo AT Techno CV-Matic transmission technology developed by Honda specifically for motorcycle type ducks. You could say this is the first motorcycle in Indonesia using a full automatic transmission.

AHM-year 2010 sales forecast to reach 3.21 million units, an increase of 20% compared to last year. Actual sales are expected to exceed the sales results achieved last year is in the range of 2.7 million units.

Motorcycle market in Indonesia is currently ranked the world's third largest after China and India, which reached 5.85 million units in 2009, and is expected to reach record highs of about 6.8 million units this year.

To accommodate the dramatic growth in the motor market in Asia, Honda is building a new motorcycle factory in India, Vietnam and Indonesia before the end of 2011. The result of this plan, Honda's overall production capacity in Asia (excluding Japan) will rise from 16 million units to 18 million units by the end of 2011.
